DAY 1: HCM – MY THO BEN TRE- CAN THO (L, D)

Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive for 2 hours to Ben Tre. We may stop along the way for refreshments and toilets.

We will start a boat tour on Ben Tre River to experience the local daily activities happening along the river. We will board a motorboat and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels to enjoy wonderful views of the Mekong River. Through the local canal in Bến Tre (land of coconuts), we can see the coconut collection set and how the locals make handicrafts from coconut trunks and shells.  We can enjoy seasonal fruits while listening to Đờn ca tài tử (Southern Traditional Music).

Take the Moto Car ( Xe Loi)  on the village path and stop at the local orchard, taste honey with tea or wine. See bees-breeding in wooden boxes under longans tree. Take rowing-boat along the water palm creek. Lunch on islets . Boat to see local people make coconut candy, taste candy (Special products of Bến Tre  province). The motor-boat will be waiting to take you back to the pier. Then we will go to Can Tho where you will spend the night here.

DAY 2: CAN THO – CHAU DOC (B, L, D)

At 5:30 AM, which is the best time to visit Cai Rang floating market, you will witness the biggest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. We can see all the fascinating trading activities on a boat. Then, we will visit a traditional rice noodle factory and taste the special homemade “Rice noodle pizza“. Then head to Chau Doc town, which is about 120 km from Can Tho. Visit Tra Su melaleuca forest is one of the most magical destinations of the Mekong Delta. It is a nature lover’s dream. That’s a wonderful place to explore nature and watch plenty of wild birds that couldn’t be seen in other places in their habitats. A motorboat will take you deeper into the forest and then, rowboat ladies will ferry visitors through the flooded cajuput forest for about 15 minutes. Don’t forget to listen to the sound of nature and wild birds. The boat will go slowly and visitors can catch all the perfect and stunning moments in the forest.

We will have some more activities before we go to Chau Doc. We will spend a night in Chau Doc.

DAY 3: CHAU DOC – HCM OR CHAU DOC- PHNOM PENH

(Choose one of three options)

OPTION 1: CHAU DOC – HCM (B, L)

In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you will have a nice motorboat trip through the floating village to visit the fish farm and see how the people in Mekong Delta raise fish in their floating houses. We will visit the Champa minorities with their traditional towel weaving village, and have a look at their Muslim .Then, our car will take you back to Sai Gon. On the way, we will stop for a light lunch. You will be back to HCM City (Sai Gon) around 5 – 6 p.m. End of tour.

OPTION 2: CHAU DOC- PHNOM PENH (CAMBODIA) (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel.
Option combine speed boat/ slow boat ( depending on the day) to Phnom Penh in Cambodia. After breakfast, we will board a speed boat for the final part of the journey – Phnom Penh. We will arrive at Sisowath tourist dock in Phnom Penh.

OPTION 3: CHAU DOC- PHU QUOC ISLAND (B)

We will have a lovely breakfast at the hotel.

You should be ready to check out before 9:30 am, when you will be picked up by our private transportation to Ha Tien pier. We will arrive at around 12 p.m., depending on traffic and your ferry to Phu Quoc island will depart at 12:30 p.m. You will probably arrive on the island at around 13:45 p.m.
