HANDICRAFT VILLAGES BY BIKE & BOAT TRIP

 Traveling by bicycle allows you to explore more areas and visit local villages, rice paddies, and islands along the Thu Bon River. During the journey, immerse yourself in local life and witness handicraft demonstrations, including pottery making, carpentry, and the creation of woven mats that serve as beds.

At 7:30 am, our guide will meet you at your hotel and provide a bike for your use. You will then be led to the harbor to begin a boat trip to Thanh Ha pottery village. This village offers various activities for visitors, such as visiting a temple, exploring a museum with ever-changing exhibits and historical artifacts, and engaging in hands-on pottery-making workshops.

Continuing the tour, we will visit Kim Bong Carpentry village. As soon as you set foot in this village, you will hear the sounds of chiseling and drilling resonating from every corner. These sounds have become an integral part of the locals’ lives, with families carrying on these traditions for generations.

Next, we will take you to Tra Nhieu village, known for its woven mats. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn how to make these traditional sleeping mats and listen to presentations on the village’s history and the local people’s activities. Observe the fishermen as they prepare their nets, boats, and tools for their long journeys at sea, which can last 2-3 weeks.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

To conclude the trip, the tour guide will lead you back to your hotel on a bike. The trip ends here.
