FARMING & FISHING LIFE BY BIKE

This tour offers a close-up and intimate look at both the local farming and fishing communities.

The day begins with a leisurely bike ride along country roads, providing you with a firsthand experience of local Vietnamese rural life. You will have the opportunity to visit Tra Que vegetable village and learn about vegetable cultivation in this pristine and beautiful setting.

During the tour, you will have the chance to participate in rice paddy farming, gaining insights into the challenges faced by Vietnamese farmers and learning about the process of rice cultivation in the wet fields. Your tour guide will provide an introduction and explanation of rice farming, and you will have the opportunity to engage in the work, including using water buffalo plows and transplanting baby wet rice in the paddy fields.

To further enhance your experience, you will embark on a Basket Boat, locally known as “Thúng Chai,” to navigate the waterways flanked by coconut palms. You will have the opportunity to meet and interact with local fishermen while also learning about the historical events of the American war that took place in this area.

Afterward, you will return to our local house, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch and a cold beer or a soft drink. Finally, you will cycle back to your hotel to conclude the tour.
