Experience traditional fishing techniques and learn to row Vietnamese bamboo basket boats in the serene coconut palm waterways of Cam Thanh Eco Water Coconut Village. Our tour provides an authentic glimpse into local life in Vietnam, along with engaging hands-on activities suitable for all.
09:00 – The local guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and transfer you to Cam Thanh fishing village.
09:30 – You will be transferred to Cam Thanh village by car or boat. Along the way, you will meet local fishermen and experience their daily lives.
10:00 – Hop on a bamboo basket boat in the Cam Thanh water coconut forest and receive a brief introduction to its history.
11:00 – Join local fishermen on the river and enjoy a hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing. You will also learn how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and participate in a basket boat race. Additionally, you will have the chance to explore the peaceful coconut waterways that have remained since the past war and try your hand at catching crabs.
Return to the fisherman’s house for a welcome drink.
Enjoy a lunch featuring local cuisine.
12:30 – Return to the hotel.
